Editor's Note
At first glance, it seems to be a Form 1 PP with the root ن ي ك (n y k), but seems instead to be a case of a quadriliteral noun turned adjective through the Ca22ūC pattern (cf. شطّور šaṭṭūr), but where gemination is replaced by two unique consonants.
